Delivery Charges

Our delivery fees , which include shipping & packaging, are as follows:

Your order will be delivered directly to your door either by our own fleet of refrigerated vans or by Royal Mail Guaranteed Next Day Delivery Service.

If for any reason your goods are delayed in transit by Royal Mail, our tried and tested packaging will keep your items chilled and/or frozen during its journey to you. Should your items be delayed, we will refund your delivery charge.

If you aren’t going to be at home to receive the order or have any specific delivery instructions (such as a 'safe place' ) please leave this information at the checkout stage, or contact us directly on [email protected]

All UK Mainland orders placed before midnight will follow the delivery schedule noted below.

• Orders placed by midnight Monday – delivered Thursday
• Orders placed by midnight Tuesday – delivered Friday
• Orders placed by midnight Wednesday to Saturday – delivered Tuesday
• Orders placed by midnight Sunday – delivered Wednesday

Please note, orders placed during a bank holiday will mean a delivery delay of up to 2 working days dependent on the Royal Mail schedule.

You will receive an SMS or email notification of your delivery day along with relevant tracking information including an online delivery confirmation with GPS map.

Aberdeenshire Larder Van Delivery Schedule

If you would prefer to have your order delivered on one of our own refrigerated vans, simply select a date/day when we deliver in your area. Your order will be delivered by one of our helpful drivers, just like a supermarket delivery, in a tray with a liner. The driver will empty the goods & liner from the tray for you, ensuring that limited packaging is used in the process, while delivering your order safely.

If you would prefer to come to our Ellon store, you can click and collect for FREE in our shop at Balmacassie Industrial Estate, Ellon, Aberdeenshire AB41 9RD, anytime between 9am and 4pm, Tuesday to Saturday and even on a Sunday 12pm-2pm. No time slots given just collect anytime between these hours at your convenience!

Collection timeline examples (for next available collection)

• Orders placed by midnight Monday can be collected on Thursday
• Orders placed by midnight Tuesday can be collected on Friday
• Orders placed by midnight Wednesday can be collected on Friday, Saturday or Sunday
• Orders placed between Thursday – Sunday, can be collected on Tuesday
• Please note, to guarantee a weekend collection slot, Wednesday is the last day orders can be made.

Packaging

Every order is hand packed to ensure your products arrive in perfect condition.

All Royal Mail orders are packed in recyclable cardboard boxes with temperature-controlled liners and packed with icepacks or dry ice where neccessary, to keep your order as fresh and safe as when it left us. Our tried and tested packaging will keep your items chilled/frozen during its journey to you and for up to 72 hours if neccessary.

Orders being delivered via our own refrigerated vans will arrive in in a lined tray/crate, and subsequently unboxed (just like the supermarkets) which enables us to help reduce our environmental impact.

Click + Collect items will also be presented for you to pack into your own bags or boxes to take safely home.

Gift Packaging and Personalised Messages

Should you want items gift boxed to pass on as a gift for example, please do ensure you select the gift option at the checkout stage.

Checking this box allows us to carefully prepare your gift and include your personalised message on a bespoke gift card.

Christmas 2023 Order Collections

Collections slots will be available;

• Friday 22nd December 10am-4pm
• Saturday 23rd December 10am-4pm
• Sunday 24th December 10am-1pm

You are welcome to collect your order at any time that suits you within these time slots. We will endeavour to make the process as quick as possible, but to help with the collection process, can we please request the following:

• Have the name of the person who placed the order
• If you can, have your order confirmation at hand (there will be an area for you to check your order)
• Please ensure that you check your order before leaving
• Please bring a bag to carry your order
