How to top our signature burgers

Steak burger

This burger is exactly what you think of when you imagine yourself at a BBQ and there are so many ways to top to make it delicious. Our favourite way is to toast a brioche bun on the barbie and topping with a chunky slice of Lanark blue cheese, if you have a lid for your BBQ close it for a minute to let the cheese get all gooey.

Chicken pork and honey burger

Whilst this is a burger that with the combined flavours of pork, chicken and honey could be left alone this burger would really benefit from some frilly lettuce, a slice of tomato, the smoky goodness of Connage dairy’s smoked Dunlop cheese and a dollop of Stokes sweet and sticky BBQ sauce. We guarantee you this is a delicious combination!

Wild venison burger

Why not give this recognisably meaty burger a spicy South American twist. In a food processor blitz together a handful of tomatoes, handful of coriander, a fresh red chilli, half a diced red onion, two garlic cloves, a good pinch of salt and pepper. Add the spicy salsa to the top of the venison burger with crunchy lettuce.

Pork and chorizo burger

This burger is crying out to be topped with a tasty, punchy cheese like our creamy Connage Dairy Clava organic brie. Think of this as both a charcuterie board and a burger all in one. It gets our vote anyway!

Steak and tomato burger

Gluten free? No worries, you won’t be missing out. Top these steak and tomato burgers with a dollop of Stokes sticky red onion marmalade, a chunk of mozzarella and some rocket.
